  We have been to this store twice now. We are opening up a business and needed advice on what to do with the walls. After going to multiple home Reno stores, we ran into Gary from the lumber department and he is the only person with an actual brain. He's the old fashioned handy type of person that thinks out of the box to come to a solution! He was so extremely helpful to us, not only did we follow his advice, we showed him a picture of the finished result and the walls turned out better than we could've imagined.

  Home Depot sucks, they are extremely overpriced on most items and they get manufacturers to produce lower quality products just for them. Then I have to explain to customers why my stuff costs more after they see an item labeled with the same name for less.

  The speed bumps by the gardening center make me want to avoid this store all together!

  The shelves seem unorganized and too many shelves are empty where products you're looking for should be.

  I would recommend anyone needing anything for their home to come to this Home Depot just to see Gary! Awesome experience!

  Had questions about plumbing... Wandered around the aisles to look for someone, no one around besides the man at the Designer desk. Tried calling the store, took twenty minutes and being on hold multiple times to reach someone (who apparently had to be grabbed from the aisle?? I even offered to meet him in the aisle as I was in plumbing). Besides that, while I was on hold over plumbing, we wandered around some more to look at other things and some woman in business attire was putting an employee in his place very loudly and rudely (we happen to speak Portuguese and understood every word, but even if we didn't, her tone made it very clear. If you know what you need and get in & out, who cares. But if you need help from professional staff, GOOD LUCK

  A place for dads, uncles, grandpas and even some wives and girlfriends. Testosterone levels are high. Who is the better handyman? Who can build a shed the quickest? Competition is in the air. If you like wearing a ball cap that says Canada on it or like wearing your Toronto Maple Leafs leather jacket on Sundays, then you’ll like it here.
