  M2 is outstanding. We had Mark and his team along with Beth Anne who did the design and the end product exceeded our expectations. They were a perfect balance of creativity with realism and all around perfectionists. Not to mention an absolute pleasure to work with. Mike compliments them perfectly as he is hyper organized, detail oriented and realistic. I would highly recommend them and we would absolutely work with them again.

  I recently had the opportunity to work with M2 Contracting on a complete home renovation. From the moment I met the team for the initial quote, I knew that M2 was right for the job. They demonstrated a professionalism and organization I had not experienced with other contractors on previous renovations. The crew that I had working on my home was amazing. I can’t say enough good things about the team, including all of the subcontractors that worked on the job. They were able to handle anything that came up during the renovation, which involved turning a very small dilapidated heritage cottage, in an extremely challenging site, into a stunning five bedroom family home. They also always took the time to show my three young kids around and did small but meaningful things for them like writing their names on the walls of their rooms or allowing them to “help” dig out the basement.

  The attention to detail that M2 shows is certainly evident in the final product. Nothing escaped the watchful eye of the crew. The weekly detailed invoices allowed us to see where every penny was spent and made the whole process very transparent.

  We had a substantial 10-week+ renovation that involved, among other things, moving the kitchen to the family room and vice versa and eliminating the wall in between; updating 3 bathrooms; new skylights; hardwood flooring throughout; new lighting throughout, new paint throughout etc. Mike and his team (Dave Cook especially) started on time (October 15th), finished on time (they told us they would get us back into our home in time for the holidays and they did - December 21st), cleaned up without fail everyday, were thoroughly professional and a pleasure to work with. The work they delivered was high quality and high performance. The follow-up service and support was fantastic. Months later, Mike gave us a heads-up on an HST rebate program that returned us thousands of dollars. I would recommend Mike and his team without hesitation.

  When our contractor bailed out on us last minute, I went into panic mode to say the least. Little did I know that it was a blessing in disguise. I contacted my interior designer Alexandra Naranjo asking her who she would recommend (as she is a perfectionist), she would only recommend M-squared contracting.

  We had purchased a new home in Unionville and had only 6 weeks to renovate the entire house before moving in. Our friends had warned us that contractors never meet their deadline and with all the work that had to get done to our place 6 weeks would not be enough! They were right, six weeks was tight, but to our delight the project was completed on time and on budget. Mike promised that he would meet the deadline and he was true to his words.

  If you're looking to hire a professional and trustworthy team of contractors that can deliver superior workmanship, M-squared contracting is the company to call. It will be the best experience you will ever have with a contractor. Renovating a house should not be a painful experience and Mike and his team ensured that it would be a great experience for us! They certainly exceeded our expectations!
